Matija Subašić-Maras
Matija Subašić-Maras has been a Member of the Management Board and Chief Human Resources Officer since 2026.
Subašić-Maras brings more than 25 years of experience in senior and executive leadership roles across the public and private sectors.
She began her career at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Croatia, after which she continued her professional development at PLIVA, where she took part in major organizational and cultural transformation processes. She then led regional HR for the pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare segments at GlaxoSmithKline, served as Human Resources Director at Croatia osiguranje during the post-privatization phase, and later worked as an HR transformation consultant in the FMCG and related industries.
She joined Studenac’s Management Board as the member responsible for human capital management from Zagreb Holding, where since 2021 she had led a comprehensive transformation of the HR function within a public system employing more than 7,000 people.
Matija Subašić-Maras holds a degree in Psychology and an MBA from the IEDC – Bled School of Management.
